Be advised that 44CFR, Chapter 1, <br /> Subchapter B, Part 60 reflects the minimum standards as set forth by the NFIP. Local <br /> community flood ordinances may stipulate higher standards that can be more restrictive <br /> and would take precedence over the minimum NFIP standards. <br /> The owner of the project property and/or their representative is responsible to research <br /> the Flood Hazard Zone designation for the project. Flood zones subject to NFIP <br /> requirements are identified on FEMA's Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM). The official <br /> FIRMS can be accessed through FEMA's Map Service Center(msc.fema.gov).
