Submitting Oral Testimony: Persons seeking to express their views may do so orally at the hearings. So that the Commission may be aware of expected capacities as much as possible, individuals who plan to testify in-person are asked to register by emailing redistrictingcommissionghawaiicoun ov or calling 808-961-8020. Oral testimony at the hearing will be limited for a length of time determined by the Chairperson,but not less than three (3)minutes. Videoconferencing The Commission intends to make participation and/or viewing via videoconferencing available for these hearings through the Zoom platform. To inquire on availability or to request access to the hearings on Zoom, contact Commission staff at redistrictingcommissionghawaiicountygov or 808-961-8020. Upon receiving a request,you will be provided with the access code information and brief instructions. If for technical or other unanticipated circumstances the video connection cannot be made and/or is disrupted, the scheduled public hearing will continue. To ensure adequate response,please submit registration requests at least 24 hours prior to the time of your intended attendance.
