Minutes <br /> Regular Meeting of the Pension Board <br /> November 29, 2021 <br /> County Building, Council Chamber,Hilo, Hawaili <br /> CALL TOORDER: The quarterly meeting of the Pension Board was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by <br /> Chair Sumera. <br /> ROLL CALL: <br /> Present: Irma Sumera, Chair <br /> Walter Lucas, Vice Chair <br /> Mae Ikeda, Member <br /> Carol Ann Marumoto, Member <br /> Absent& Excused: None <br /> Also Present: Aaron Brown, Deputy County Clerk <br /> Jon Henricks, County Clerk and Ex-Officio Secretary <br /> Kay Oshiro, Controller, Department of Finance <br /> Deanna Sako, Finance Director and Ex-Officio Treasurer <br /> Elizabeth Strance, Corporation Counsel (via Zoom) <br /> Linda Young, Payroll Specialist II, Department of Finance <br /> Nicole Bello, Private Secretary, Office of the County Clerk <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: (None) <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 30, 2020 <br /> Chair Sumera asked for any additions or corrections from the board. (There were none) <br /> The November 30, 2020, meeting minutes were approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 1. <br /> Election of Officers December 2021 —November 2 22 <br /> ( o ber 0 ) <br /> Chair Sumera proceeded with the Election of Officers and asked for nominations for Chair and <br /> Vice Chair for upcoming year. <br /> Ms. Ikeda made a motion to nominate Mr. Lucas as Chair of the Pension Board. Seconded by <br /> Ms. Marumoto. <br /> The motion for Mr. Lucas as Chair was carried by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Board Members Ikeda, Marumoto, Vice Chair Lucas, and Chair Sumera—4. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
