Permitted Interaction: <br /> Meeting of Other Entities <br /> •Less than a quorum <br /> •Attending another entity's meeting or presentation that <br /> is not specifically and exclusively organized for or <br /> directed toward the board members—e.g., legislative <br /> hearing, convention, seminar, community meeting <br /> •Board members may participate in discussions of <br /> board business, provided no commitment to vote is <br /> made or sought <br /> •At the next duly noticed board meeting, attendees shall <br /> report their attendance and the board matters presented <br /> or discussed at the other entities' meeting. <br /> A sixth permitted interaction allows less than a quorum of members to attend and <br /> participate in discussions at a meeting of another entity relating to the board's official <br /> business, such as a legislative hearing, convention, seminar, or community meeting. <br /> The other entity's meeting, however, cannot be specifically and exclusively organized <br /> for or directed toward the board members. The attending board members must not <br /> make or seek any commitment to vote on the board matters discussed, and they must <br /> report their attendance and the matters discussed or presented at their next duly <br /> noticed board meeting. <br /> 16 <br />
