GIACOMETTI:Well theres several reasons. One is that the total amount of water that <br />may be available for residential development I think limits to some degree the density of this <br />area. The, another one is that the use for, of that water of the wastewater generated from urban <br />development can be reclaimed and used on golf course purposes. And thirdly the owners of <br />always had in mind building a golf course on this property. In 1999 I believe the, then Planning <br />Commission granted a use permit for an 18-hole course on this property, on agricultural zone. <br />That has been a continued interest on the part of the-, the owners. <br />ALAMEDA:Commissioner Siracusa follow up? <br />SIRACUSA:No, Im not sharp enough anymore to follow up. <br />ALAMEDA:Other Commissioners before we entertain the public testimony?
