Communication Number 2022-01 <br />Basic Requirements <br />1. All discussions, deliberations and <br />decisions regarding board business must be <br />conducted at a meeting <br />2. Every meeting must be open, unless <br />specifically allowed to be closed by law <br />3. Boards must provide notice and access to <br />board packet <br />4. Boards must accept testimony <br />5. Boards must keep minutes <br />5 <br />provisions concerning remote meetings. <br />deliberations concerning board business must be conducted at a meeting open to the <br />public. <br />Second, all meetings must be open to the public, unless specifically allowed by the <br />Sunshine Law to be closed. <br />Third, boards must provide advance notice of board meetings, including an agenda, and <br />must also provide access to board packets. <br />Fourth, boards must accept testimony from any interested person. <br />And fifth, a board must keep minutes of all of its meetings, including executive <br />meetings that have been closed to the public. <br />5 <br /> <br />
