In <br />addition, members of the public may provide oral testimony at the meeting on any of the <br />agenda items. To register for access to the Zoom meeting please email cdp@hawaiicounty.gov. <br />Comments may be made either during the public comment portion of the agenda or just prior <br />to the relevant business item and may be limited to three (3) minutes in length per agenda <br />item. <br />MESSAGE FROM PLANNING DIRECTOR, ZENDO KERN <br />BUSINESS: <br />1. Presentation by the Office of Housing and Community Development. The Office of <br />Housing and Community Development will provide an overview of the current needs for <br />affordable housing in Hawaii County and how the 201H process works to help facilitate <br />the development of affordable housing. <br />2. Presentation by Kristine Kubat from Recycle Hawaii. Executive Director Kristine Kubat <br />will share background on the non-profit organization's mission to reduce solid waste by <br />providing educational services and other resources to promote recycling efforts. <br />3. 2022 Roadmap Discussion. Staff will briefly outline action items in the upcoming year <br />including feedback and suggested actions that came from individual meetings with <br />Action Committee members. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />All the February Action Committee meetings have been moved to March.
