Statements from the public will be taken throughout the meeting. <br /> <br />4. PRESENTATIONS: <br /> <br />a. Big Island Invasive Species Committee (BIISC) Communications Director, <br />Franny Brewer will speak about games resources being identified as “invasive <br />species.” <br /> <br />b. West Hawai’i DOFAW Wildlife Biologist Kanalu Sproat will discuss possible <br />reasons for the game bird decline. <br /> <br />c. Hawai’i Firearms Coalition Director Todd Yukatake will give us an update of <br />related bills in the Legislature. <br /> <br />5. OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. Review and approval of GMAC testimonial letters for the following Legislative <br />bills: SB 3299, SB 3298, SB 2994, and HB 662, to submit to Mayor Roth for <br />support. <br /> <br /> <br />6. NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. Commissioner agenda ideas for 2022 GMAC meetings. <br /> <br />7. ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />a. District 2 and 7 GMAC commissioner vacancies. <br /> <br />8. COMMISSIONERS REPORT BY DISTRICT: <br /> <br /> <br />9. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br /> <br />10. ADJOURNMENT: (8:00 pm) <br /> <br /> <br />Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may <br />convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the <br />agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting <br />with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s <br />powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS <br />Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. <br /> <br />County of Hawai`i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
