County of Hawaii <br /> Department of Water Supply <br /> (A component unit of the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii) <br /> MANAGEMENT'S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS (Continued) <br /> Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2021 <br /> During 2021, major capital asset additions included: <br /> • $2.3 million for the Kaieie Mauka Facility Improvements. <br /> $0.1 million for the Kaloko Mauka #1 Booster A&B repair. <br /> $0.9 million for the Hualalai Deepwell Repair. <br /> $0.8 million for the Keauohana Deepwell B Repair. <br /> $0.2 million for the Parker#1 Deepwell Repair. <br /> $0.2 million for the Honokaa Boosters A&B. <br /> $0.3 million for the Kulaimano Well Repair. <br /> $0.4 million for the Olaa Deepwell Repair. <br /> • $0.6 million for the Holualoa Deepwell Repair. <br /> $0.4 million for the Lalamilo Deepwell Repair. <br /> • $1.0 milllion for the Keahuolu Deepwell Repair. <br /> More detailed information about the Department's capital assets is provided in Note D to the <br /> financial statements. <br /> At June 30, 2021, the Department had outstanding $18.8 million in County of Hawaii general <br /> obligation bonds for public improvements, and $47.0 million in State of Hawaii revolving fund <br /> loans. <br /> As of June 30, 2021, the Department, through the County of Hawaii, maintained an "AA" rating <br /> from Standard & Poor's, an "Aa2" rating from Moody's and an "AA+" rating from Fitch for general <br /> obligation debt. <br /> Currently Known Facts, Decisions, or Conditions <br /> Effective January 1, 2021, water rates increased 13% from the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. <br /> 11 <br />
