West Hawaii Class Information <br />AGE: Must be 55 years of age and older to participate. <br />ENROLLMENT: Registration will be closed when class limit is met. Class size is dependent on room size and student/teacher ratio. You will need <br />Elderly Activities Division Kupuna Identification card to participate in activities. If you do not have an identification card please call the ERS office at <br />808-323-4340 to schedule an appointment. ERS Release of Claims/Emergency Information Form must be completed prior to starting activities. <br />SAFETY PROTOCOLS: Each participant will be required to wear their masks upon entering facility. Masks will not be required to be worn during classes <br />that require any type of physical activity (ex: Zumba, Yoga, etc.) If you are feeling ill please refrain from attending classes. Hand sanitization stations <br />will be made available for students. <br />WINTER REGISTRATION: General public registration will start the first day of class. Registration will continue through class limit is met. PLEASE, NO <br />REGISTRATION BY TELEPHONE. Please arrive prior to the start of class to submit payment & complete applicable forms. If you decide to drop the course <br />before the 2nd class, please call the ERS office at 808-323-4340 & "no shows" will be removed from the attendance after the 2nd class. <br />*IF YOU WERE PREVIOUSLY ENROLLED IN THE CANCELED SUMMER 2021 CLASSES (JULY-AUGUST), YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY RE -ENROLLED IN THESE <br />CLASSES AND NO PAYMENT WILL BE COLLECTED FOR THAT CLASS. <br />COSTS: Participants will be required to pay a registration fee per class. The fee will be $10.00 for the entire session whether it's 8, 9, or 10 classes and will <br />be collected at the first and second class. Classes that are 2 hours or more will be $20 per class. The monies will be used to support all programs and ERS <br />activities. No refunds after the second class. Do NOT pay office. Please pay in class. If paying with cash please bring exact change. If paying by check please <br />make checks payable to: County Director of Finance. <br />*Gentle Yoga (Chair) - Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water to class. Other equipment (ex: yoga blocks) are welcomed but not required. Chairs will be provided <br />for the class. <br />*Line dancing classes - Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. <br />Services and opportunities to porticipote in Elderly Recreation progroms ore provided to persons JJ years or older withont regord to roce, color, notionol origin, sex, disobility or religion. <br />The County ofHo-woii does not discriminate on the basis of disobility in the admission, or treotment, or employment in its progroms or octivities.
