CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: Meeting was called to order at 6:01pm <br /> District 1 - Stanley Mendes, in person <br /> District 2 - Kean Umeda, via Zoom <br /> District 3 – Rhon Leomana Turalde, via Zoom <br /> District 4 – Brian Ley – via Zoom <br /> District 5 - Abraham Antonio, in person <br /> District 6 - Grayson Hashida – Excused <br /> District 7 - Vacant <br /> District 8 – Cortney Okumura, via Zoom <br /> District 9 - George Donev, via Zoom <br /> <br /> Quorum Established (Seven and one excused) <br /> <br />STAFF: Keyra Wong, Deputy Attorney, Corporation Counsel <br />Pomai Bartolome, Executive Assistant to Mayor Roth <br />Barbara Kossow, Administrative Specialist Mayor’s Kona Office <br /> <br />AA. Chair Antonio reminded everyone of the Sunshine Rules – if you are on Zoom <br />you need to be present at all times. If anybody comes in your presence - you <br />can correct me if I’m wrong – you got to state their name and I think that’s <br />pretty much about it – just the rough of it. <br /> <br />KW: Keyra Wong) Yes, that’s correct, Chair, and if I might clarify one thing. The <br />Sunshine Law – one of the new requirements is that all the Commissioners <br />have to be present on video as well – we just need a quorum of <br />Commissioners present on video. If we’re unable to be present on the video <br />than if someone is unable to sustain that connection than that’s OK – we <br />just have to try to establish quorum by being visual on the camera. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
