IV <br />RULES OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY <br />COST OF GOVERNMENT COMMISSION <br />I. OFFICERS <br />Officers to consist of a Chairperson and a Vice -Chairperson elected from the <br />membership. <br />II. DUTIES AND POWERS OF THE CHAIRPERSON <br />(a) Preside at each meeting. <br />(b) Preside at public hearings. <br />(c) Sign and certify to all official acts of the Commission. <br />Ill. DUTIES AND POWERS OF THE VICE -CHAIRPERSON <br />The Vice -Chairperson shall perform the duties of the Chairperson in the absence <br />or inability of the Chairperson to act. <br />IV. MEETINGS <br />(a) Regular meetings of the Commission will be held on the 1s' and 3rd <br />Thursdays of each month at the Hawaii County Council Room or other <br />public place. <br />(b) Special meetings of the Commission may be called by the presiding <br />officer of the Commission. <br />(c) Agenda for meetings shall be established in advance at prior meetings by <br />the Commission. The Chairperson may add items to the agenda prior to <br />the filing of public notice. <br />
