We will return to the regular order of the agenda items with the "Approval of Minutes" <br />for September 15, 2021. <br />Before I do that, Amanda, I just want to formally excuse you from the Board meeting. I just <br />want to thank you on behalf of the Merit Appeals Board for your expertise in representing the <br />Board at today's appeal hearing and note that the Chair was recused from the appeal hearing with <br />the Vice -Chair serving as the Acting Chair for the appeal hearing. <br />But, on behalf of the Board, thank you very, very much and I was informed that the hearing will <br />be continued to November 19''.
