The Planning Director informed Hualalai that <br /> its presence was required at the upcoming June 16 hearing to <br /> answer questions from the LPC on its petition. <br /> On June 1, 2016, Bolton requested another postponement <br /> of the hearing for Special Permit Application No . SPP-16-188 <br /> until further notice . On June 7, 2016, the Planning Director <br /> notified Bolton that he would "defer the application" until <br /> Bolton requested that it be added back to the LPC agenda. <br /> Following the Planning Director' s June 7 letter, <br /> between June 17 and August 23, there was further communication <br /> between Bolton and the Planning Director regarding Bolton' s use <br /> of Parcels 31 and 44 and Special Permit Application No . SPP-16- <br /> 188 . Bolton sent at least three letters to the Planning <br /> Director, and Bolton and the Planning Director scheduled an in- <br /> person site inspection of Bolton' s property. The correspondence <br /> between Bolton and the Planning Director reflected substantial <br /> fact-finding by the Planning Director. On June 30, 2016, Bolton <br /> attended an in-person meeting with the Planning Director, and <br /> sent a July 12 "follow up" letter that contained "specific <br /> information" the Planning Director had "requested" at the June <br /> 30 meeting. On July 27, 2016, the Planning Director sent Bolton <br /> a letter stating that although Bolton' s July 12 letter <br /> "provide [d] some clarity, it d [id] not quite contain the <br /> specific information" the Planning Director requested at the <br /> 14 <br />
