PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br /> Report on Special Management Area(SMA) determinations and minor permits issued by <br /> the Planning Director. <br /> AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> The Windward Planning Commission's next monthly meeting is scheduled for Thursday, <br /> August 4, 2022 at the Council Chambers in Hilo and the public can also testify via Zoom. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Submitting Testimony The public may provide written testimony via email at <br /> WPCtestimony@hawaiicounty.gov or submit by mail or in person at the Hilo Planning office at <br /> 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 3, Hilo, Hawaii 96720 or at the Kona Planning office at West Hawaii <br /> Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building E, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> up to two business days prior to the hearing by 4:30 p.m. Pursuant to Hawaii County Planning <br /> Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure (PC), Rule 1, General Rules, a person desiring to <br /> submit written testimony shall indicate her/his name; address; and whether the testimony is on <br /> her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. If testimony is being <br /> submitted on behalf of an organization, documentation showing membership ratification should <br /> accompany the testimony. Public testimony can be submitted by mail or email. Those <br /> submitting written testimony by mail should provide one copy for distribution. Mailed testimony <br /> should be provided at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough <br /> Commission review. Additionally,pursuant to Rule 1, the Chairperson may limit testimony that <br /> is irrelevant or unduly repetitious. <br /> Notice to Lobbyists: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County <br /> Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawaii County <br /> Code}. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends <br /> more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting <br /> to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to <br /> communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawaii County Code} <br /> Registration forms and expenditure report documents are available at the Office of the County <br /> Clerk, 25 Aupuni Street, Room 1402, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. <br /> Board Packet.
