Kam <br />$20 <br />2nd Floor Conference Room <br />Classes will be closed on the following HOLIDAYS: <br />August 19, 2022 (Admissions Day) & September 5, 2022 (Labor Day) <br />West Hawaii Class Information <br />AGE: Must be 55 years of age or older to participate. <br />ENROLLMENT: Registration will be closed when class limit is met. Class size is dependent on room size and student/teacher ratio. You will need Elderly Activities Division <br />Kupuna card to participate in activities. If you do not have an identification card please call the ERS office at 808-323-4340 to schedule an appointment. ERS Release of <br />Claims/Emergency Information Form must be completed prior to starting activities. <br />SUMMER REGISTRATION: General registration will start the first day of class. First come, first serve. PLEASE, NO REGISTRATION BY TELEPHONE. Pre -registration for <br />students currently enrolled in the course will be on the last day of class in the quarter. <br />COSTS: Participants will be required to pay a registration fee per class. The fee will be $10.00 for the entire session whether it's 8, 9, or 10 classes and will be collected <br />at the first and second class. Classes that are 2 hours or more will be $20 per class. The monies will be used to support all programs and ERS activities. No refunds after <br />the second class. Do NOT pay office. Please pay in class. If paying with cash please bring exact change. If paying by check please make checks payable to: County <br />Director of Finance. <br />*Line dancing classes - Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. <br />*Hula classes - Wear comfortable clothes, a lava lava (sarong) or pa'u skirt are welcome but not required. <br />*Senior Fitness - at least 3 pound weights <br />*Ukulele class - Bring a ukulele, a music stand and a pen/pencil. <br />*Card making class - Starting from the 2nd class, scissors and double -sided tape will be needed. Will go over details at the 1st class. <br />Services and opportunities to participate in Elderly Recreation programs are provided to persons JJ years or older withont regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability or religion.
