Ma€am will you be testifying also? <br />WOMAN:I€m just here supporting. <br />GALDONES:Mr. Verosko have you received the background report and also and <br />recommendation? <br />VEROSKO:Yes. <br />GALDONES:Do you have any comments to them? <br />VEROSKO:As far as the Department of Transportation we will be complying <br />withalloftheirrequestsorwhatever-wehaveoffsiteparkingandwehaveaccess-our <br />own private access in and out off the highway. And- and that should- that should be <br />sufficient as far as what the Department of Transportation is asking. <br />GALDONES:Commissioners are there any questions of Mr. Verosko? Are there <br />anyone from the public- public here to testify on this subject matter before us? If not, <br />Commissioners it comes with a recommendation to have this approved by the Planning <br />Commission. Mr. Emler: <br />EMLER:Chairman Galdones I would like to suggest a revision to one of the <br />conditions regarding the access. <br />GALDONES:Proceed. <br />EMLER:Condition # 4 reads the driveway connection to Mamalahoa <br />Highway shall conform to Chapter 22, Streets and Sidewalks of the Hawaii County Code. <br />The driveway access is this case is within a State Highways, Department of <br />Transportation jurisdiction and so Chapter 22 of Hawaii County Code will not apply. So <br />I would recommend that you change this to- conform to requirements of the State <br />Department of Transportation. <br />DARROW:So noted. <br />GALDONES:Sharon did you get that? <br />NOMURA:Yes. <br />3 <br /> <br />
