Hawaii Police Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />August 26, 2022 <br />Page 2 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />• Police Chief recruitment <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC) <br />The commission will meet in executive session to consider charges against the officers or <br />employees of the police department, where matters affecting privacy will be involved; to <br />consider sensitive matters related to public safety, and may consult with the board's <br />attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, <br />immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County <br />Charter Section 13-20 (b). <br />CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS (Briefly summarized) <br />• HPC 22-36: Complainant alleges that an officer failed to file her report. <br />• HPC 22-37: Complainant alleges that an officer disregarded federally issued identifying <br />documents and issued her a citation under a defunct identifying document. <br />• HPC 21-51: Complainant alleges that an officer was angry and rude towards her when <br />responding to a domestic dispute. (continued) <br />• HPC 22-38: Complainant is dissatisfied with the officer's response. Her minor child was <br />allegedly left in a volatile and dangerous situation. <br />• HPC 22-39: Complainant alleges that her custodial rights of her child were infringed <br />upon and her home was entered by police without permission. <br />REQUEST FOR REPRESENTATION BY CORPORATION COUNSEL <br />• Correspondence No. 22-07: Bradley Morehouse v.
