And, Norman, could you go ahead and enter int <br />record the two pieces of paper you passed out. <br />HAYASHI:Yes, we did receive two witness statements this morning, <br />testimony. These testimonies are undated. One is from Cory Har <br />from Imaikalani Aiu. <br />GIFFIN:Mr. Vitousek, when we recessed your next public testifier, your <br />next witness, who had submitted their testimony but was going to be subject to cross- <br />examination, if IÓm not mistaken, is Paul Bleck. <br />VITOUSEK:ThatÓs correct. <br />GIFFIN:Is Mr. Bleck present? <br />VITOUSEK:He is. <br />GIFFIN:Okay. My notes show that I did not swear you in. Is that true? <br />BLECK:ThatÓs correct. <br />GIFFIN:Okay. Would you please come forward and weÓve set this table up <br />as the table for the witnesses. If youÓll just raise your right hand. Do you swear or affirm <br />to tell the truth on this matter now before the Hawai`i County Planning Commission? <br />BLECK:I do. <br />GIFFIN:Thank you. Mr. Vitousek? <br />VITOUSEK:Yeah, weÓre offering Mr. Bleck as the Project Architect and, also, <br />as an expert in architecture to the extent that his testimony contains opinions. And, so, I <br />guess the, you know, we have outlined his credentials in the written testimony. I guess if <br />any of the parties want to question him on the credentials before heÓs determined to <br />being, whether or not heÓs qualified as an expert, I guess, this would be a perfect time to <br />do that. <br />3 <br /> <br />
