Commissioner Alameda? <br />ALAMEDA:If my fellow Commissioners have no other comments, Im ready to <br />makeamotiontooutsource. <br />SPRINGER:Isthereanyfurtherdiscussion?Wecanalsomakeadiscussion <br />under the discussion part of the motion. Commissioner Alameda? <br />ALAMEDA:Id like to make a motion that, in regard to this application, that we <br />outsource for standing. <br />WATANABE:Second. <br />SPRINGER:It has been moved by Commissioner Alameda andseconded by <br />Commissioner Watanabe that in the matter of Special Permit 04-017 the role of, that we <br />will outsource for a hearings officer and that hiring will be done in accordance with all <br />the County hiring practices. Discussion? Norman? <br />IWASHITA:This applies to both contested matters, I mean, both parties that <br />weve granted standing to. <br />SPRINGER:Thank you, Commissioner Iwashita. Do we need to express in the <br />motion that it is our intention to combine these two? <br />TORIGOE:Well, it doesnt hurt to clarify that. Was that the intent of the <br />motion? <br />ALAMEDA:The motion, that is the intent of the motion, to combine these two <br />and to outsource. <br />SPRINGER:Is that sufficient, Mr. Torigoe? <br />31 <br /> <br />
