EXECUTIVE ON AGING – Horace Farr called the meeting to order at <br />10:05 a.m., and welcomed the members on the Committee on Aging. <br /> <br />2. INTRODUCTIONS: <br />Committee members present: Judy Bell, Michelle Johnson, Patricia Nye, Marsha <br />Okajima, Clyde Silva, and Pauline Spencer <br /> <br />Committee members excused: Gwen Houston, Enola Kaneta, Laenette Longakit <br /> <br />Hawaii County Corporation Counsel (Legal): Jean Campbell <br /> <br />State Policy Advisory Board for Elderly Affairs (PABEA): Shelly Ogata <br />Shelly is the Council Aide for Councilmember Sue Lee Loy, and also sits on State’s <br />PABEA and represent the Big Island. <br /> <br />Hawaii County Office of Aging staff (HCOA): Horace Farr and Luana Ancheta- <br />Kauwe <br /> <br />3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: CHAIR, VICE CHAIR, SECRETARY <br />Horace open the floor for nomination of officers. Newly elected officers are: <br />Patricia Nye, Committee Chair; Clyde Silva, Committee Vice-Chair, and Pauline <br />Spencer, Committee Secretary. Nomination was unanimous by the Committee. <br /> <br />Motion to approve the Minutes of the last meeting of May 28, 2021; Clyde Silva <br />motioned to approve the minutes, seconded by Judy Bell. <br /> Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> An Area Agency on Aging <br /> <br />
