NEW BUSINESS: 9:45 a.m. <br />APPLICANT: BIG ISLAND COUNTRY CLUB HOMES, LLC (SPP No. 944) <br />4. <br />Amendment to Condition 7 (construction time requirement) of Special Permit No. 944, <br />which allowed the construction of a 50-unit members only private lodge on 10 acres of <br />land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural district. The property is bordered by <br />the Big Island Country Club golf course situated on the makai side of Mamalahoa <br />Highway (Highway 190), Puuanahulu, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-1-5: portion of 41. <br />INITIATOR: PLANNING DIRECTOR <br />5. <br />Amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning Code), Article 1, Section 25-1-5(b) of the Hawaii <br />County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), by amending the definition of family <br />to read as follows: <br />Family means an individual or two or more persons related by blood, state-sanctioned <br />adoption, foster parentage, guardianship or marriage, or a group of not more than five <br />unrelated persons (excluding servants), occupying a dwelling unit.
