I apologize for the technical difficulties <br /> here. My name is Bronsten Kossow, Chair of the Hawaii County Redistricting <br /> Commission. Thank you for being with us this evening. We're calling the draft plan <br /> hearing meeting to order. I am in Kona, along with Commissioner Lopez. If the <br /> Commissioners in Hilo can go ahead and state their name into the record. <br /> LUL Commissioner Lui, District 1. <br /> BATH: Commissioner Bath, District 5. <br /> YOSHINA: Dwayne Yoshina, District 2. <br /> KOSSOW: Mahalo. And then over onto Zoom. Commissioners? <br /> YADAO: Jennifer Yadao, District 4. <br /> AKAMU: `Rina Akamu, District 6. <br /> AH NEE: Comissioner Ah Nee, District 3. <br /> HUSTACE: Commissioner Hustace, District 9. <br /> KOSSOW: Mahalo, Commissioners. Staff, can we get an update of—Excuse me. Thank <br /> you, Comissioners. <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> KOSSOW: Testifiers, the public hearing is an opportunity for you to provide your <br /> thoughts, views, and feedback on the draft plan that was selected on November 29h. We <br /> will take all the comments received and the Commission is then required by the Charter <br /> to submit our final plan by December 31". You will have three minutes to provide your <br /> testimony. When your time has passed, we will ask you to summarize then move onto the <br />
