Request to amend Special Management Area Use Permit No. 201 by changing the <br />request from a 76-lot Industrial Subdivision to an Industrial-Commercial Mixed <br />Use Subdivision. The request would allow the undeveloped properties to be <br />developed with uses permitted in the Industrial-Commercial Mixed (MCX) <br />district. The area involved is referred to as the “Makalapua Business Center” and <br />is located north of the existing Kona Industrial Subdivision and makai of Queen <br />Kaahumanu Highway, Kailua-Kona, Keahuolu, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-4- <br />8: portion of 2 & 70, and 7-4-25:1-4. <br />NEW BUSINESS: 1:30 p.m. <br />APPLICANT: DARRELYN M. GRAVETT (SPP 05-016) <br />6. <br />Application for a Special Permit to allow a 2-unit bed and breakfast establishment <br />on 1.291 acres of land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District. <br />The property is located between the Holualoa Art Gallery and the Kona Imin <br />Center on the mauka (east) side of the Old Government Road, Holualoa, North <br />Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-6-3:13. <br />APPLICANT: DANIEL IBBETSON (SPP 05-015) <br />7. <br />Application for a Special Permit to allow a 2-unit bed and breakfast establishment <br />on 0.722 acre of land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District.
