We have to relinquish the chairs to them. I would like to start with these <br />individuals, Nicole Nakakura, Kristi Lovell, Luke van der Spoel, Nick Loera. First of all I would <br />like to commend the 4 of you for spending the time to be here to testify before us in support of <br />the project that is before us. And, you probably are nervous but we are just as nervous as you <br />folks are so you€re not alone okay. Now, in proceeding forward in the testimony I need to have <br />you folks sworn in and you need to speak in the microphone because your voice needs to be <br />recorded. So first of all could you please raise your right hand. Do you swear or affirm to tell <br />the truth on this matter now before the Hawaii County Planning Commission? And I shall start <br />with you first sir? <br />LOERA:I do. <br />GALDONES:Ma€am. <br />LOVELL:I do. <br />VAN DER SPOEL:I do. <br />NAKAKURA:I do. <br />GALDONES:Well starting with you sir, I would like you to state your name, your <br />address and then you may begin your testimony. <br />LOERA:My name is Nick and my address is 77-6367. And I€ll be talking about <br />why we need this campus and why it€s important to approve the Special Use Permit. Here are <br />some reasons why IPCS is so important to the community. 1 - We make learning fun. 2 - We get <br />to pick our favorite sports and activities. 3 - Our school believes in the arts.
