[11:05 am] Comments: Chair Konowicz thanked the Mayor, Managing Director, County <br />Council, Department/Division heads, the public, and especially the <br />Commissioners and their families for their time and effort serving on this <br />committee. He then summarized the "highlights" of the final report, citing the <br />updated commission rules, the restrictions and burdens of Konno and the <br />Sunshine Law, the administrative support to the commission, and the commission <br />timing, <br />Mayor Roth thanked the commission for their report findings recommendations <br />and acknowledged that many of the findings were already being implemented by <br />the administration, pointing to the permitting process, the EPIC system <br />improvements and changes, the efforts to "green" the mass transit system and <br />announced a grant efforts. <br />Individual commissioners each acknowledged the work accomplished and voiced <br />appreciation for the team and the process. Chair Konowicz encouraged further <br />participation by Commissioners in the various aspects of County government. <br />[ 12:15 pm] MOTION <br />Commissioner Herbert made a motion to dissolve the 2022 Cost of Government <br />Commission <br />Commissioners Wakat and Matson seconded the Motion <br />Voice Vote: AYES (S) Unanimous <br />The 2022 Cost of Government Commission is Dissolved and Meeting <br />Adjoined at 12:15 pm <br />
