It was then moved by Commissioner Iwashita, seconded by Commissioner Alameda, that the request be approved as recommended by the Planning Director, with conditions. A roll call vote was taken and motion carried with seven ayes (Iwashita, Alameda, Bowman, Domingo, Housel, Ogata and Woodward) and one absent and excused (Watanabe). RECESSED The Chair recessed the meeting at this time, 11:42 a.m. RECONVENED The meeting reconvened at 1:30 p.m. SPP 08-000057 The Commission took this item up at 1:30 p.m. with MARTA V. CAMPBELL approximately 16 people from the public in attendance. HAWAIIAN PARADISE PARK, PUNA APPLICANT: MARTA V. CAMPBELL (SPP 08-000057) Special Permit to allow the establishment of a tutoring center on one acre of land situated within th the State Land Use Agricultural District. The property is located along the makai side of 6 th Avenue, approximately 2,300 feet south of the Makuu Drive and 6 Avenue, Hawaiian Paradise Park Subdivision, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: 1-5-27:43.
