SLU 08-000019/ The Commission took this item up at 10:05 a.m. with <br />REZ 08-000078 six people from the public in attendance. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />DEPARTMENT OF <br />ACCOUNTING AND <br />GENERAL SERVICES <br />KAPUA AND PUEHUEHU, <br />NORTH KOHALA <br />APPLICANT: STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND <br />GENERAL SERVICES (SLU 08-000019 and REZ 08-000078) <br />a.State Land Use Boundary Amendment for approximately 3.475 acres of land from the <br />Agricultural to the Urban District; and <br />b.Change of Zone for approximately 3.475 acres of land from Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) to <br />Single-Family Residential 15,000 square feet (RS-15). <br />The property is located approximately 600 feet north (makai) of Akoni Pule Highway (Highway <br />270) and also makai of Takata Store, Kapua and Puehuehu, North Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 5-4-8: <br />portion 2. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT B) <br />REZ 08-000079 The Commission took this item up at 10:15 a.m. with <br />COUNTY COUNCIL approximately ten people from the public in attendance. <br />ST <br />KAHUA 1, <br />NORTH KOHALA <br />INITIATOR: COUNTY COUNCIL (REZ 08-000079) <br />Change of Zone for 37.88 acres of land from a Single-Family Residential 15,000-square foot <br />(RS-15) to a Residential and Agricultural 15-acre (RA-15a) district.The property involved, <br />owned by Kohala LLC, is located along the southwest (makai) side of Akoni Pule Highway and <br />st <br />the Kohala Ranch Subdivision, Kahua 1, North Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 5-9-1:8. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT C) <br />RECESSED The Chair called a recess at 10:38 a.m. <br />RECONVENED The meeting reconvened at 10:50 a.m. <br />KONA COMMUNITY The Commission took this item up at 10:50 a.m. with <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN approximately 20 people from the public in attendance. <br />KONA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />Review and action on the draft Kona Community Development Plan (CDP) submitted by the <br />Kona CDP Steering Committee and its consultant, Wilson Okamoto Corporation. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT D) <br />2 <br /> <br />
