Chair Graham opened the nominations for the 2008 Officers. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Woodward and seconded by Commissioner Domingo that <br />Commissioner Watanabe be Chairman, Commissioner Siracusa for First Vice Chairman and <br />Commissioner Rho for Second Vice Chairman. The motion was carried by voice vote of all <br />Commissioners in attendance. <br />MINUTES The Commission took up the following minutes at this time, <br /> 4:20 p.m., with no one from the public in attendance: <br />November 16, 2007 – It was moved by Commissioner Siracusa and seconded by Commissioner <br />Alameda that the minutes be approved. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all <br />Commissioners in attendance. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE There was no discussion under administrative matters. <br />MATTERS <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS The following announcement was made at this time, 4:25 p.m., <br /> with no one from the public in attendance. <br />Mr. Hayashi announced that Mayor Kim has nominated Lani Bowman from North Kohala to <br />st <br />replace Commissioner Graham whose term ends as of December 31; as well as Shelly Ogata, <br />who took former Commissioner Allen Salavea’s unexpired term, for her current position. <br />Mr. Hayashi also announced that there is no meeting in January in Hilo, and the next meeting is <br />th <br />scheduled for January 11 in Kona. <br />ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the Chair declared the meeting <br /> adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Noriko Sauer <br /> West Hawaii Secretary <br />A T T E S T: <br />William Graham, Chairman <br />Planning Commission <br />7 <br />
