<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I <br />MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 2006 <br />The Planning Commission met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Hapuna Beach <br />Prince Hotel, Mauka Salon, 62-100 Kaunaoa Drive, Kohala Coast, Hawaii, with <br />Chairman C. Kimo Alameda presiding. <br />PRESENT:C. Giacometti Evans <br />Family Trust (SMA 05-006) and as there was no objection, the Commission amended its <br />agenda to first take up the application of Alliance Redwoods. <br />SPP 06-000033The Commission took this item up at 9:01 a.m. with <br />ALLIANCE REDWOODSapproximately 30 people from the public in attendance. <br />CONFERENCE <br />GROUNDS,INC. <br />HANAULA, <br />NORTH KOHALA <br />APPLICANT: ALLIANCE REDWOODS CONFERENCE GROUNDS, INC. <br />(SPP 06-000033) <br />Special Permit to allow the establishment of a camping and retreat center on 6 acres of <br />land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District.
