HAYASHI:Well, I cant speak for those that arestating their concerns relative to the <br />traffic. Perhaps they can better state their position. <br />SPRINGER:Commissioners, any questions for the staff? <br />ALAMEDA:Madam Chair, just on the lines of Commissioner Watanabe -. <br />SPRINGER:Commissioner Alameda. <br />ALAMEDA:Mr. Hayashi, and maybe you can defer this to the applicant, but just to <br />refresh for some of our new Commissioners, maybe highlight the top issues that were brought up <br />as concerns, and just so we can get our minds back to this. <br />HAYASHI:I think the main concern was traffic; and because this particular area is at a <br />curve right here, and so there were some concerns relative to sight distance. So this is why we <br />asked when, after the TIAR was submitted we noticed that there were no reference to the sight <br />distance in some of those turning lane movements; therefore, we requested the applicant to <br />addresstheseconcerns. <br />ALAMEDA:Thankyou. <br />SPRINGER:Commissioners, any further questions of staff?
