The property is located approximately 3,600 feet southwest of the Hilo Country Club <br />st <br />Estates Subdivision inUpperKaumana, Kukuau 1, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-4-8: Portion of <br />33. <br />Mr. Hayashi oriented the Commission and public of the subject and surrounding properties on <br />the location map and site plan and summarized the request. He noted that the Planning Director <br />recommended approval of the application with conditions, noting all of the conditions imposed <br />by the Land Use Commission are incorporated in Condition B of the Planning Director€s <br />proposed conditions. <br />The applicant€s representative, Jim Bell, gave some background information and summarized the <br />request.Hestatedthattheapplicantisinagreementwiththeproposedconditionsofthe <br />Planning Director. <br />For Commissioner Siracusa€s information, Mr. Bell clarified that the Newton Family Limited <br />Partnershipisnotbuildinganyhomes,butthefamilymemberswhoreceivetitletotheirlotwill. <br />Mr.YuenatthistimeamendedConditionDtoclarifythatthisconditionwillnotkickinunless8 <br />lots are created.
