Watanabe <br />Chris Yuen, Deputy Planning Director <br />Norman Hayashi, Planning Program Manager <br />Phyllis Fujimoto, Staff Planner <br />JeffDarrow,StaffPlanner <br />Kiran Emler representing Department of Public Works <br />The Chair introduced the Commissioners and the Staff to the public. <br />(SPP 05-005)The Commission took this item up at 9:07 a.m. with <br />DEBRA DICKENSapproximately 13 people from the public in attendance. <br />KEOKEA <br />SOUTH KONA <br />APPLICANT: DEBRA DICKENS (SPP 05-005) <br />Special Permit to allow the re-establishment <br />of a neighborhood store (former Morihara Store) on approximately 10,000 square feet of land <br />situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District. The property is located along the <br />southeast (mauka) side of Highway 11 and across from the Highway 11 ‚ City of Refuge Road <br />junction, Keokea, South Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 8-4-15: portion of 10. <br />Chairman Galdones stated that if there were no objections that he would like to take this agenda <br />itemnumber2outofsequencebecausetheApplicantDebraDickenswasnotpresentand <br />informed the Commission that they would like to have the hearing continued.
