rd <br />PUAA 3, <br />NORTH KONA <br />APPLICANT: KPC VILLAGES, LLC (SMA USE PERMITNO. 276) <br />Revocation of Special Management Area Use Permit No. 276, which allowed the development <br />of a 48-unit condominium project and related improvements. The property is located on the <br />mauka side of Alii Drive across from Huggo's Restaurant and the Royal Kona Resort Hotel <br />rd <br />complex, Kailua-Kona, Puaa 3, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-5-9:23. <br />Mr. Hayashi informed the Commissioners that the Applicant is requesting revocation of their <br />SMA permit number 276, which is for the 48-unit condominium subject to approval of the <br />previous agenda item for a zone change by the County Council. He stated that the Planning <br />Director is recommending approval with that stipulation. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Watanabe and seconded by Commissioner Iwashita that the <br />request for revocation be approved subject to the approval of the rezoning by the County <br />Council. There was no discussion. Motion was unanimously carried by a roll call vote of all <br />Commissioners in attendance. <br />MINUTESThe Commission took up the following items up at 4:00 p.m. <br />with no one from the public in attendance. <br />April 22, 2005 -It was moved by Commissioner Siracusa and seconded by <br />Commissioner Iwashita that the minutes be approved and filed. Motion was unanimously carried <br />by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />May 12, 2005It was moved by Commissioner Siracusa and seconded by <br />Commissioner McCall that the minutes be approved and filed. Motion was unanimously carried <br />by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />May 20, 2005It was moved by Commissioner Siracusa and seconded by <br />Commissioner Iwashita that the minutes be approved with the correction on Page 6, the second <br />quotationbyCommissionerSiracusatoreadÂxeriscapingÂnotzeroscaping.Motionwas <br />unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />ADMINISTRATIVEThe Commission took this item up at 4:07 p.m. with <br />MATTERSno one from the public in attendance. <br />Mr. Hayashi reported that the Parker Ranch Board of Directors Contested Case Hearing will be <br />on July 11, 2005 in Waimea. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT The Commission took this item up at 4:08 p.m. with <br />noonefromthepublicinattendance. <br />Mr.HayashiannouncedthatthenextmeetingofthePlanningCommissionwillbeJuly1,2005 <br />in Hilo. <br />4 <br /> <br />
