SPP 05-007The Commission took this item up at 11:02 a.m. with <br />GREGORY J. PLESCIA approximately 5 people from the public in attendance. <br />KEAAU, <br />PUNA <br />APPLICANT: GREGORYJ. PLESCIA (SPP 05-007) <br />Special Permit to allow the construction of a 2,400-square foot building for a certified <br />(commercial) kitchen on approximately 2,400 square feet of land situated within the State Land <br />rd <br />Use Agricultural District. The property is located along the makai side of Uluhe Street (33 <br />Street), approximately 2,500 feet northwest of Makuu Drive, Hawaiian Paradise Park <br />Subdivision, Keaau, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: 1-5-16:portion of 142. <br />(SEE EXHIBIT B) <br />MINUTESThe Commission took up the following minutes at this time, <br />12:04 p.m. <br />March 18, 2005  It was moved by Commissioner Springer and seconded by Commissioner <br />Alameda that the minutes be approved as circulated. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice <br />vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />ADMINISTRATIVEThe following were considered under administrative <br />MATTERSmatters at this time, 12:05 p.m.: <br />Status of appeals filed on Planning Commission decisions - Corporation Counsel  Mr. Torigoe <br />stated he had nothing new to report. <br />Other Commission matters  In response to Commissioner Springer€s inquiry, Mr. Yuen reported <br />that the hearings officers will be informed of the disposition of the contested case hearing on <br />Wayne Blasman€s SMA Use Permit application (SMA 02-003) as soon as the proper documents <br />are signed. Mr. Hayashi then reported that Hearings Officer Sherry Broder will be conducting <br />the contested case hearing of Parker School Board of Director€s Use Permit application <br />(USE 05-001) on July 11, 2005 in Waimea; Hearings Officer Tom Yeh will be conducting the <br />contested case hearing for John and Jeanne Vurich€s special permit application (SPP 04-017) on <br />August 24, 2005 at the Aupuni Center in Hilo: and Hearings Officer Colin Love will be <br />contacting the parties to set the schedule for the contested case hearing of Cellco Partnership dba <br />VerizonWireless€SpecialPermitApplication(SPP05-004).Mr.HayashithenaddedthatParker <br /> <br />School Trust Corporation€s Use Permit application (USE 04-006) has been withdrawn. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTSThe following were made under announcement at this time, <br />12:05p.m.: <br />PlanningCommissionMeetingMr.HayashiannouncedthatthenextCommissionmeetingis <br />scheduled for June 17, 2005 in Kona. <br />2 <br /> <br />
