In response to the Chair€s inquiry, Mr. Yuen said that it was up to the Commission whether or <br />not to recommend inclusion of Section 14-101(a)(5) to the County Council,noting the Council is <br />the ultimate decision-making body in this matter. <br /> MINUTESAt 9:14 a.m., the Commission took up the following minutes: <br />January 21, 2005 It was moved by Commissioner Alameda and seconded by Commissioner <br />Salavea that the minutes be approved as circulated. Motion was unanimously carried by a voice <br />vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />April 1, 2005- The Commission deferred approval of the minutesto a subsequent meeting. <br />ADMINISTRATIVEThe Commission took up the following under administrative <br />MATTERSmatters at this time, 9:15 a.m. <br />Status of appeals filed on Planning Commission decisions - Corporation Counsel  Mr. Torigoe <br />said he had nothing new to report. <br />Other Commission matters  Mr. Hayashi reported thatParker School Trust Corporation has <br />withdrawn their Use permit application (USE 04-006); Sherry Broder will be the hearings officer <br />for the Parker School Board of Director€s Use Permit application (USE 05-001); and Tom Yeh <br />will be the hearings officer for John and Jean Vurick€s Special Permit application (SPP 04-017). <br />He added that the next meeting is scheduled for May 20, 2005 at the King Kamehameha Kona <br />Beach Hotel. <br />ADJOURNMENTThere being no further business, the Chair declared the meeting <br />adjourned at 9:17 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Sharon M.
