Floral, Inc. property along the south side of Lalamilo Farm Road, approximately 770 feet west of <br />the Lalamilo Farm Road-Mamalahoa Highway intersection, Lalamilo Farm Lots, Lalamilo, <br />Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 6-6-5: portion of 2. <br />Mr. Hayashi oriented the Commissioners and the public of the subject and surrounding properties <br />on the location map and site plan. He stated that there were no objections by the surrounding <br />property owners or from the general public on the application. He also stated that the Planning <br />Director is recommending approval with conditions. <br />The applicant€s representative, Danette Mettler, received the background report and <br />recommendation from the County and had no comments to offer. <br />The Commissioners had no questions for Ms. Mettler. <br />There was no one from the public wishing to testify on this agenda item. <br />The Chair stated that the Planning Director recommends approval of the application. <br />It was moved by Commissioner Fujikawa and seconded by Commissioner Smith to approve the <br />special permit application with conditions as recommended by the Planning Director. The area under consideration is located approximately <br />1,500 feet east (mauka) of the Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 190), across from the Kona <br />rd <br />Coastview Subdivision, Kalaoa 3, North Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-3-2:2 <br />Mr. Darrow oriented the Commissioners and the public of the subject and surrounding properties <br />on the location map. He noted that a late transmittal was received by a Carlos Mahi Manuel and <br />that was distributed to the Commissioners.
