I think probably the best thing to do is to have our public- I guess our project <br />supporters testify and then I€ll come on and address the actual planning issues. Box 4960 in Kailua- <br />Kona, HI 96745. <br />SPRINGER:Thank you. You may proceed. <br />ROSS:Good morning Planning Commission members. Thank you for allowing <br />me to speak to you today. My name is Delaney Ross and I have been going to Hualalai <br />Academy since kindergarten. I am now in 5th grade and 10 years old. Both my brother and <br />sister have gone to this school from the beginning. When my brother was in 5th grade there <br />were only 2 students in his class. When my sister was in the 5th grade there were 11 children in <br />her class. Now that I€m in 5th grade there are 19 kids in my class. My brother is now is college <br />th <br />at UH Manoa and my sister is in 10 grade at HPA. They had to go to Waimea for high school <br />becauseHualalaiAcademydidnothaveone.IamhopingtogotohighschoolhereinKonaat <br />Hualalai Academy.
