According to the applicant, they will comply <br /> with DOH requirements if the proposed septic tanks are deemed insufficient during the <br /> building permit process, including the potential installation of an anaerobic septic system. <br /> 28. Solid Waste: In accordance with Condition No. 9 of the Special Permit, the applicant <br /> submitted a solid waste management plan to the Department of Environmental <br /> Management, which was approved. The plan, which remains in place, includes <br /> composting of all green waste,paper, cardboard and food waste. <br /> 29. Other Essential Utilities and Services: There are 60 existing photovoltaic panels which <br /> produce electricity for the retreat center, in addition to storage batteries, converter panels <br /> and a back-up generator.
