Mr. Hayashi oriented the Commission and public of the subject and surrounding <br />properties on the location map and site plan, summarized the request, and noted the <br />Planning Director recommended approval of the application with conditions. <br />The applicantÓs representative, Gregory Mooers, stated he did receive the Planning <br />DepartmentÓs Background Report and Recommendation and concurred with the <br />statements and proposed conditions. <br />Lunakanawai Hauanio presented his verbal testimony at this time (SEE EXHIBIT A). <br />As there was no further testimony offered, it was moved by Commi <br />seconded by Commissioner McCall that the public hearing be closed. Motion was <br />unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br />Regarding the State Land Use Boundary Amendment application, it <br />Commissioner Kubota and seconded by Commissioner McCall to forward a favorable <br />recommendation to the County Council based on and incorporating the Planning <br />DirectorÓs recommendation. A roll call vote was taken and motion carried with seven <br />ayes (Kubota, McCall, Mina, Smith, Thibadeau, Graham and Springer) and two absent <br />and excused (Fujikawa and Galdones). <br />Regarding the Change of Zone application, it was moved by Commissioner Kubota and <br />seconded by Commissioner McCall to forward a favorable recommendation to the <br />County Council based on and incorporating the Planning DirectorÓs recommendation. EASLEY (REZ 03-019) <br />Change of Zone for 21.121 acres from the Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) to the <br />Agricultural 10-acre (A-10a) district.
