County of Hawaii <br />Department of Water Supply <br />(A component unit of the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii) <br />MANAGEMENT'S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS (Continued) <br />Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2022 <br />During 2022, major capital asset additions included: <br />$7.9 million for the Papaikou Transite and GI Pipeline Replacement. <br />$0.6 million for the Piihonua-Kukuau Reservoir & Transmission Improvements <br />$0.6 million for the Pahoa Deepwell Repair. <br />$0.6 million for the Kahaluu Deepwell Repair. <br />• $1.0 million for the Waimea Deepwell Repair. <br />$0.9 million for the Ke'ei Deepwell and Boosters Repair. <br />$0.9 million for the Pana'ewa Well Repairs. <br />$0.9 million for the Kalaloa Deepwell Repair. <br />$0.6 million for the DHHL Maku'u Farm Lots dedication. <br />$0.9 million for the West Ramp Demolition and Lease Lots dedication. <br />$3.6 million for the Hokulia Phase 2 dedication. <br />More detailed information about the Department's capital assets is provided in Note E to the <br />financial statements. <br />At June 30, 2022, the Department had outstanding $20.1 million in County of Hawaii general <br />obligation bonds for public improvements, and $53.6 million in State of Hawaii revolving fund <br />loans. <br />As of June 30, 2022, the Department, through the County of Hawaii, maintained an "AA" rating <br />from Standard & Poor's, an "Aa2" rating from Moody 's and an "AA+" rating from Fitch for general <br />obligation debt. <br />11 <br />
