NEW BUSINESS Hamakua Health Center, Inc. 1.will present to the Action Committee a presentation titled “Health Impact Assessment in Community Planning and Policy Development.” The subject matter discusses the social determinants of health, which are the economic and social conditions that influence the health of individuals, communities and jurisdictions as a whole. They determine the extent to which a person possesses the physical, social, and personal resources to identify and achieve personal aspirations, satisfy needs, and cope with the environment. The resources include but are not limited to conditions for early childhood development; education, employment, and work; food security, health services, housing, income, and income distribution; social exclusion; the social safety net; unemployment and job security. KCDP Implementation. 2. Action Committee will continue ongoing review of KCDP Goals, Policies and Actions & discuss roles & responsibilities. Financial Plan. 3.The Action Committee will discuss follow-up information regarding the Financial Plan and the (3) three possible scenarios of the implementation of the Financial Plan.
