Action Committee will review and discuss the Planning Department <br />overview of the evolving process to amend a CDP and the authority of AC <br />to do so. <br />Sub-Committee Reports. <br />3.Action Committee will review sub-committee reports <br />and recommended motions and discussion items to place on the next meeting <br />agenda for action. <br />a. Action Committee will discuss the Transportation and Public Facilities <br />February -10 Action Plan which provides updates on previous motions that <br />have been approved (Enhancement of County GIS system and to Update <br />the Revised Roadway Standards to include Complete Streets), the current <br />requests for information made to the various county departments for <br />updates (Mass Transit Agency Administer, Department of Water Supply, <br />Department of Environmental Management, Planning Department, County <br />Council). project, current discussion items (bicycle and pedestrian <br />recommendations, 10 shared-use pate segment construction, work plan <br />changes, CIP Recommendations and Operating Budget <br />Recommendations) and proposes future discussion items (GreenRoads <br />Guidance Manual, potential projects to watch and monitor and potential <br />motions for Action Committee). <br />i. <br />Transportation Projects Update Report. <br />ii.TRAN-3.6 <br />The Action Committee will discuss the Motion to adopt <br />the bicycle and pedestrian recommendations developed by PATH <br />with interim changes included and modality layers into Official <br />Transportation Network <br />iii.TRAN-1.1a <br />The Action Committee will discuss the Motion for <br />County of Hawai’i and State of Hawai’i to cooperatively undertake <br />steps necessary that could allow the construction to proceed for ten <br />(10) Shared-Use Path segments and adjoining intersections <br />identified in Kona CDP and Bike Plan Hawai`i that aren’t designed <br />yet for concurrent construction <br />b. Action Committee will discuss the Land Use, Environmental & Cultural <br />Resources February -10 Action Plan which provides updates on previous <br />motions that have been approved (Enhancement of County GIS system <br />and Criteria for 17-mile Shore Park), the current requests for information <br />made to the Planning Department (Status of Kona Cultural Resources <br />Committee, Progress of Modifications of the County’s GIS system and <br />Status of Kona Trail Inventory), the current discussion items (Analysis and <br />Options of proposed land use changes, work plan changes, CIP <br />Recommendations and Operating Budget Recommendations) and <br />proposes future discussion items (Planning Department to compile <br />information regarding trails, paths and shoreline access and easements, <br />to provide funding for Kona Cultural Resources Committee, Improve GIS <br />system to include cultural and historic sites and information and to <br />prioritize the need for water monitoring of the ocean water). <br />c. Action Committee will discuss the Economic Development Report which <br />provides information regarding the sub-committee members, purpose and <br />copy of approved minutes of meetings held. <br /> <br />
