Action Committee will discuss the Land Use, Environmental & Cultural <br />Resources January -10 Action Plan which provides updates on previous <br />motions that have been approved (Enhancement of County GIS system <br />and Criteria for 17-mile Shore Park), the current requests for information <br />made to the Planning Department (Status of Kona Cultural Resources <br />Committee, Progress of Modifications of the County’s GIS system and <br />Status of Kona Trail Inventory) and proposes future discussion items <br />(Planning Department to compile information regarding trails, paths and <br />shoreline access and easements, to provide funding for Kona Cultural <br />Resources Committee, Improve GIS system to include cultural and historic <br />sites and information and to prioritize the need for water monitoring of the <br />ocean water). <br />c. Action Committee will discuss the Economic Development Report which <br />provides information regarding the sub-committee members, purpose and <br />copy of approved minutes of meetings held. <br /> CIP Input Process. <br />3.The Action Committee will discuss the process for providing <br />input into the County’s CIP projects to the Planning Department. <br />Planning Department Update. <br />4. Staff will provide update on Kona District <br />projects/programs. <br />a. According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona Community Development Plan <br />Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and <br />whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written <br />testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would <br />appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to <br />allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. <br /> <br />
