Hawaii County Dept. of Human Resources 05/19/2023 08:34:36 AM <br />Merit Appeals Board <br />4) Approval of Minutes <br />April 27, 2023 <br />Review of Executive Session Minutes <br />April 27, 2023 <br />May 26, 2023 <br />Executive Session: The Merit Appeals Board anticipates convening one or more <br />executive meetings regarding the above matters, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and <br />92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and <br />issues pertaining to the Board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. <br />A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive meeting. <br />5) Communication(s) <br />Communication No. 23-02, dated May 16, 2023, from Waylen L. K. Leopoldino, <br />Director, Department of Human Resources, notifying the Board of his resignation <br />from his position as the Director of Human Resources, effective close of business on <br />Friday, June 30, 2023. <br />6) New Business (for discussion and appropriate action) <br />Confirmation of the appointment of Deputy Director of Human Resources <br />Danny B.
