CAMPBELL <br />A regularly advertised hearing on the application of <br />(SPP 08-000057) <br />was called to order at 10:44 a.m. in the County of Hawaii, Aupuni Center <br />Conference Room, 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawaii, with Chairman Rodney Watanabe presiding. <br />PRESENT: Rodney Watanabe ABSENT & EXCUSED: Lani Bowman <br /> C. CAMPBELL (SPP 08-000057) <br />Special Permit to allow the establishment of a tutoring center on one acre of land situated within <br />th <br />the State Land Use Agricultural District. The property is located along the makai side of 6 <br />th <br />Avenue, approximately 2,300 feet south of the Makuu Drive and 6 Avenue, Hawaiian Paradise <br />Park Subdivision, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: 1-5-27:43. <br />WATANABE: We are now on Agenda Item No. 4. The applicant is Marta V. Campbell. <br />This would be SPP 08-00051; and it’s a Special Permit to allow the establishment of a tutoring <br />center on one acre of land situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District. With that I’ll <br />turn it over to Mr. Darrow. <br />DARROW: Thank you, Mr. Chair. For our first presentation this morning on our <br />fourth application, this is an application submitted by Marta V. Campbell. She is requesting a <br />Special Permit to allow the establishment of a tutoring center on one acre of land. This is located <br />within the Hawaiian Paradise Park Subdivision. More specifically it would be located down <br />th <br />Makuu Drive and right on 6 Avenue. It’s identified on the map with a little black outline. This <br />th <br />is near the end of 6 Avenue on the mauka side or the right side. There are some larger <br />agricultural parcels that are not connected to the subdivision that you can see just to the right of <br />the applicant’s property. <br />The different shades of green represent zoning again. The darker green represents Agricultural <br />1-acre zoning. The lighter green represents Agricultural 5 acres. And the very dark green are <br /> EXHIBIT B <br />1 <br /> <br />
