I believe we need places like <br />this to not only help build a stronger community but also to create jobs and a clean local economy based on education <br />and tourism. <br />I am a frequent visitor using the facilities and urge all that are concerned to visit the center and see what an inspirational <br />place it is indeed. The gardens/orchards and off -grid infrastructure exemplify how people can live more closely to the <br />land and a sustainable style that adds to the solution of the carbon crisis instead of creating more problems. Also since <br />Kalani has taken a big step back, this type of center is in great need. <br />I understand that HER is sensitive to their neighbors and have initiated conversations and guidelines to address <br />concerns. <br />Your approval of this application would be very appreciated. <br />Sincerely, <br />Heather Garvey <br />I took a month long retreat at HER that helped me to heal and grow in a way that I truly needed at the time.
