Item No. 7. Final Agenda Item for today. Applicant, Milton <br />McNicoll, III, SPP 06-000030. This is a Special Permit to allow the establishment of a <br />commercial vehicle storage and baseyard facility on 0.723 acres of land situated within the State <br />Land Use Agricultural District. The property located along the east side of Ainaola Drive, <br />approximately 300 feet south of the Ainaola Drive – Hoaka Road intersection, Waiakea <br />Homesteads. Staff? <br />DARROW:Thank you, Mr. Chairman. If I can direct the Commission’s attention to <br />the location map. The area of this application is within the South Hilo District of Hawai`i, more <br />specifically we’re looking in the area of Ainaola Drive and Hoaka Road. Looking at this white <br />line traveling in an east-west direction across the middle of the map is Ainaola Drive. We have <br />Hoaka Road in this particular area. Ainaola Drive turns into Hoaka Road and that continues in a <br />west direction and then Ainaola Drive changes to a north-south direction in this area.
