The property is located along the south side of Saddle Road in the vicinity of <br />Nohonaohae Cinder Cone, approximately 1 mile from the Saddle Road ƒ Mamalahoa Highway <br />(Highway 190) junction, Waikoloa, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 6-7-1: portion of 3. <br />GALDONES:Commissioners we are on agenda item number 3. Applicant is <br />Motorsports Park Hawai i, SPP 05-012. This is an application for a special permit to allow the <br />establishment of an off-road vehicle recreation facility and related uses on 14.9 acres of land <br />situated within the State Land Use Agricultural District. Jeff? <br />DARROW:Thank you Mr. Chairman. Good morning Mr. Chairman and members of <br />the Planning Commission. If I may direct your attention to the location map on the board. The <br />area of this application is within the South Kohala district of Hawai i more specifically we€re <br />looking in the area of-, where Saddle Road meets Mamalahoa Highway near the West Hawai i <br />Concrete area, identified here in red. The applicant in this case Motorsports Park Hawai i is <br />requesting a special permit for 14.9 acres of land to allow the establishment of an off-road <br />vehicle recreational facility.
