According to an email from the State <br /> Department of Health (Planning Department Exhibit 4—DOH Email dated May 1, 2023), <br /> while the Department has no objection with the Project, the two proposed IWS would not <br /> meet the criteria set forth in Chapter 11-62 of the Hawaii Administrative Rules and therefore <br /> the applicant will be required to install a wastewater treatment plant as the proposed flows <br /> exceed 1,000 gallons per day. <br /> 29. Solid Waste: Solid waste will be handled through commercial haulers or disposal by the <br /> landowner into authorized landfill sites or transfer stations. <br /> 30. Essential Services and Utilities: Electrical and telephone services are available to the <br /> subject property.
